Il Borgo del Convento apre le sue porte a nuove attività ed esperienze. Il weekend del primo Maggio vi invitiamo a venire nel nostro agriturismo per partecipare ad un appassionante workshop ed imparare le tecniche della ceramica Raku insieme all’ esperta ceramista Francesca Ciliberti.
Organizziamo questa nuova esperienza e ve la presentiamo in formato promozionale.Il workshop si terrà da Giovedì 31 Aprile fino a Domenica 3 Maggio. Durante questi tre giorni si pernotterà nelle eleganti stanze dell’agriturismo il Borgo del Convento, dove si consumeranno la colazione, il pranzo e la cena a base di prodotti tipici e genuini preparati sul posto.
Durante il workshop la maestra ceramista Francesca Ciliberti introdurrà la storia e le modalità’ della tecnica tradizionale del Raku. Sotto la sua supervisione, si produrranno monili e tazze che verranno poi decorati e cotti secondo questa antica e affascinante tecnica. A fine weekend si parteciperà ad un’interpretazione in termini nostrani del cerimoniale del the (legato alla cultura della manifattura raku), utilizzando le tazze prodotte dai partecipanti.
Il numero massimo dei partecipanti e’ di 10 ad un prezzo promozionale di 350 euro.Ogni partecipante ha la possibilità di portare un accompagnatore che potrà passare il weekend rilassandosi nella campagna. Ogni accompagnatore paga un prezzo di 200 euro per la pensione completa.
LA NOSTRA MAESTRA
Francesca Ciliberti e’ una maestra ceramista, riconosciuta come una delle eccellenze dell’artigianato calabrese e inserita nel volume “le imprenditrici calabresi”. Figlia d’arte, ha studiato al centro internazionale di Faenza e conseguito la Laurea in Decorazione.
Dal 2002 si e’ affermata come imprenditrice e indiscussa maestra artigiana della nostra zona, grazie allo showroom e laboratorio aperti nel cuore dell’antica Soverato. La sua produzione si ispira principalmente a qu
ella pastorale e contadina delle nostre zone, dalla quale Francesca prende in prestito e si fa ispirare. Le tecniche del Raku e quella della ceramica ingobbiata-graffita-colorata sono i due strumenti principali attraverso i quali riscopre e valorizz
a la cultura calabrese.
Dal 1994 ad oggi ha partecipato a mostre nazionali, da docente esperta ha organizzato
workshop, corsi per bambini e corsi professionali. Le sue opere sono esposte presso la sede dell’OLD CALABRIA e il MUSEO civico di TEANO.
