Once you've created your free account, you can upgrade (or downgrade) to a premium membership at any time. The Peacock Premium tier is $4.99 per month and gives you access to everything on the service. This tier, however, does not prevent advertising from playing while you're watching.
If you want an ad-free tier, you'll have to pay $9.99 per month for the Peacocktv.com/tv Premium Plus plan. This service offers the same material as Peacock.com/tv Premium, but without the advertisements.
Furthermore, all the Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus programs provide a 7-day free trial. You have a week to look at what's available before deciding whether to become a paying member or stay on the free tier. Keep in mind that unless you cancel the subscription beforehand, the trial will automatically convert to a paying membership.
You can begin your free 7-day Premium trial on the Peacock site before making a free account, or you can upgrade after creating a free account via the account preferences section.
