Sumi Jo è il soprano più acclamata al mondo per la sua straordinaria precisione, per il calore della sua voce e per la sua eccezionale musicalità. Accolta costantemente con riconoscimenti eccezionali, sia dal pubblico che dalla stampa, per le sue esibizioni nei più importanti teatri lirici e sale da concerto di tutto il mondo, ha collaborato con i più grandi cantanti del mondo esibendosi al Metropolitan Opera di New York, alla Carnegie Hall, all’Opera di Stato di Vienna, al Palais Royal di Parigi, a Roma in Vaticano. Collabora con registi cinematografici internazionali, eseguendo brani della colonna sonora del film “La nona porta”, diretto da Roman Polanski e partecipa al film “Youth - La giovinezza”, diretto dal premio Oscar Paolo Sorrentino, interpretando il ruolo di se stessa.
