I Funky Buddha nascono nel 2015 nella zona di Lecco, 4 musicisti con la passione per l'hip-hop incontrano il rapper Most D e nascono le prime idee. Unendo batteria, chitarra e basso a samples, scratch e rap, e usando la black music afroamericana (soprattutto il funk) come riferimento per le sonorità, queste idee si trasformano in “How That Sound?!?!”. Questo primo album, con la voce di Elena Caligiuri che aggiunge la parte soul per completare il sound, è uscito per Junkfish Records ed è disponibile su tutte le piattaforme di streaming e in copia fisica.
