Venerdì 17 luglio 2020 alle ore 21.00 Palazzo Pesce apre le sue porte a “Le disobbedienti. Interviste impossibili a personaggi femminili che hanno cambiato la storia”, pièce teatrale con l’attrice Valeria Pinto, la storica Valeria Nardulli e la danzatrice Floriana Giorgio.
Uno spettacolo in Puglia che si svolge fra passato e presente nelle interviste impossibili che una scrittrice fa a personaggi femminili che hanno avuto il coraggio di ribellarsi, ciascuna nel proprio ambito, agli schemi sociali del loro tempo. Fra le pareti affrescate della Sala etrusca si avvicenderanno Ipazia, matematica, astronoma, sapiente filosofa vissuta tra la fine del IV e l’inizio del V secolo d. C., bellissima e amata dai suoi discepoli, celebrata e idealizzata ma anche mistificata e fraintesa fino alla tragica morte ormai immagine della resistenza ad ogni fanatismo; Colette, pseudonimo di Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, autrice tra le più innovative, spregiudicate e controverse della Belle Époque parigina, che dopo una serie di romanzi pubblicati con la firma del marito si ribella alle imposizioni decidendo di scrivere e recitare in piena autonomia diventando icona della cultura pop e dell’emancipazione femminile; Tina Modotti, pseudonimo di Assunta Adelaide Luigia Modotti Mondini, figlia di una cucitrice e di un carpentiere, una delle più grandi fotografe dell’inizio del XX secolo e creatura nomade per antonomasia che nel suo breve e luminoso percorso biografico vive di viaggi, di passioni pubbliche e private, di separazioni laceranti e di quelle inquietudini che segnano l’apertura del Novecento.
Una serata di raccoglimento e ribellione, insieme alle coreografie danzate di Floriana Giorgio e alle proiezioni di Gabriele Ciriello, per conoscere più a fondo queste figure simbolo di una libertà, quella femminile, ancora oggi faticosamente da conquistare.
