Da giovedì 13 a domenica 16 settembre 2018 Palazzo Pesce ospita “La serva padrona” di Giovan Battista Pergolesi, diretta dal Maestro Sabino Manzo sul podio dell’Ensemble Santa Teresa dei Maschi e con la regia di Beppe Naviglio.
Il capolavoro di Pergolesi inaugura “Opera a Corte”, progetto ideato e realizzato da L’Atelier delle Arti, in collaborazione con Santa Teresa dei Maschi e la compagnia teatrale TeatrAmico. L’obiettivo, ambizioso e filologico, è quello di ricreare l’atmosfera autentica dei teatri nelle corti del Settecento: un numero esclusivo di posti a sedere (100 per ognuna delle quattro recite), un ensemble barocco e la suggestiva corte, in pietra bianca e circondata dal lussureggiante giardino esotico, di Palazzo Pesce. Un’occasione imperdibile in Puglia per essere parte di un evento musicale unico che ha in sé il potere evocativo di una macchina del tempo.
A esibirsi nel ruolo di Serpina, la giovane e scaltra domestica che alla fine dell’intermezzo buffo riuscirà a trasformarsi da serva in padrona, sarà il soprano Valeria La Grotta, laurea in Canto lirico con lode e menzione, specializzanda in Canto rinascimentale e barocco e una carriera che la vede in giro per l’Europa e ai primi posti in tutti i più prestigiosi concorsi nazionali e internazionali; ad affiancarla nel ruolo di Uberto, il ricco, attempato e in fondo ingenuo signore, il baritono Beppe Naviglio, studi in Canto con la Signora Rina Filippini Del Monaco, una laurea in Lettere con lode e un repertorio che spazia dalla musica antica a quella contemporanea che lo vede protagonista in concerti e opere nei più prestigiosi teatri e festival di tutto il mondo; insieme a loro nel ruolo di Vespone l’attore Rino Giuliani, membro di TeatrAmico, compagnia teatrale che ha fatto della ricerca e sperimentazione, anche in collaborazione con associazioni di volontariato, la propria vocazione.
Al termine della recita sarà servito un cocktail da gustare insieme a tutti i musicisti, per vivere a pieno la convivialità mondana delle regge reali.
