La formazione romagnola è attualmente composta da Diego Pasini (testi, voce e chitarra), Lorenzo Camera (synth e arrangiamenti, attivo anche nei Ponzio Pilates e con l’alias Mondoriviera), Francesco Giampaoli (basso e synth, noto per la militanza in Sacri Cuori e GDG Modern Trio) e Arianna Pasini (chitarra, tastiere e seconde voci, già negli Urali). Manuel Pistacchio è quindi dato dall’assemblaggio di quattro musicisti gravitanti tra Rimini, Ravenna e Bologna e operativi soprattutto tra Igea Marina e Lido Di Dante, dove sono rispettivamente ubicati l’Home Studio di Camera e lo studio Al Mare di Giampaoli, location delle session di registrazione. Camera e Giampaoli si sono inoltre occupati della produzione del disco, mixato successivamente da Camera.La dimensione di gruppo è adesso senz’altro più forte e ha portato con sé maggiore eterogeneità nel songwriting, caratterizzato da un parziale distacco dalla precedente estetica lo-fi in favore di sonorità più piene e di un groove più coinvolgente. Ciò che resta immutata è la volontà di caratterizzare ogni pezzo, quasi come se ognuno di essi fosse un individuo con la propria specifica identità da scoprire.
