Fabio Concato è uno dei più importanti autori ed interpreti della musica italiana. Inizia la sua lunghissima carriera nel 1977 con il disco Storie di Sempre, contenente il successo A Dean Martin, fino ad arrivare ad oggi con più di dieci album pubblicati e numerose raccolte.
Tra i suoi grandi successi ricordiamo Domenica Bestiale del 1982, Fiore di Maggio del 1984, Ciao Ninìn in gara al Festival di Sanremo del 2001 e molte altre.
Concato ha collaborato con importanti artisti italiani come Anna Oxa nel 2003 con il Viceversa Tour, Samuele Bernsani per il brano Binario 3, con il trombettista jazz Fabrizio Bosso e con Stefano Bollani.
Nel 2020, è stato vincitore dell’Ambrogino D’oro, l’onorificenza conferita dal Comune di Milano, per aver donato in beneficienza tutti i proventi del suo brano L’Umarell.
Fabio Concato si esibirà in piazza Cavour a Pantelleria, insieme ai musicisti che hanno collaborato con lui nell’ultimo disco: Ornella D’Urbano (arrangiamenti, piano e tastiere), Stefano Casali (basso), Larry Tomassini (chitarre) e Gabriele Palazzi (batteria).
