Sinossi: Dopo La cena per farli conoscere e Il papà di Giovanna, Pupi Avati conclude una"ideale trilogia sui padri" con Il figlio più piccolo. Interpretato da Christian De Sica, che molla moglie e due figli per costruire un impero economico da furbetto del quartierino, Luca Zingaretti, il suo "angelo custode" commercialista, Laura Morante, consorte fanée e innamorata, e l'esordiente Nicola Nocella, il figlio più piccolo e ingenuo, è il nuovo lavoro di un regista prolifico, da 1,3 film l'anno: un pregio produttivo, un difetto artistico. Pur con battute indovinate e gusto farsesco, ci si può scagliare contro la legalità e l'indecenza della nostra società senza curarsi della forma (doppiaggio, presa diretta, scenografie...) dell'accusa? In breve, la morale non ha, non esige uno stile? Se il cast è indovinato — De Sica che esce dal carcere con un (cine)panettone scaduto vale il biglietto... — e il sorriso non latita, c'è un altro interrogativo: che fine fa il figlio più grande, l'unico capace di smascherare e ripudiare quel cialtrone criminale del padre? Per cambiare l'Italia, serve il suo rigore, non l'ingenuità del fratellino.
Come tutti gli eventi che si terranno in Piazza Messina avranno ingresso solo su prenotazione online, almeno fino a che non cambieranno le vigenti norme anti-Covid.
