A sei anni dall’ultima edizione, quest’anno il Bravìo delle Botti ripropone la Festa della bandiera, una serata all’insegna di spettacoli di sbandieratori e tamburini provenienti dai migliori gruppi delle città limitrofe.
Saranno tre i gruppi ospiti di questa serata, oltre al Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini di Montepulciano che aprirà le danze:
- Gruppo Musici e Sbandieratori di Pienza
-Terziere Porta Fiorentina di Castiglion Fiorentino
-Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini del Comitato delle Contrade di Chiusi Scalo
PER PARTECIPARE
L’evento sarà ad accesso gratuito e, in relazione alle normative, prevederà un accesso contingentato con prenotazione obbligatoria. La prenotazione potrà avvenire secondo due modalità:
- attraverso le contrade: ogni contrada gestirà la distribuzione di una parte dei biglietti tra i propri soci, così da assicurare ampia partecipazione del popolo contradaiolo.

Il Bravìo delle Botti è la sfida tra otto contrade: Cagnano, Collazzi, Le Coste, Gracciano, Poggiolo, San Donato, Talosa e Voltaia, dislocate tutte lungo il centro storico cittadino, che si contendono un panno dipinto facendo rotolare delle botti di circa 80 Kg ciascuna, lungo un percorso in salita di oltre un chilometro. Le botti sono spinte da due atletici “spingitori”, mentre il percorso della gara si snoda tra le suggestive vie del centro storico della città poliziana fino all’arrivo, situato sul sagrato del Duomo in Piazza Grande.
