Domenica 30 aprile, in occasione del World Pinhole Photography Day - giornata mondiale della fotografia con foro stenopeico - il fotografo Alessandro Gatto, in collaborazione con Claudia Conserva ed Erika Lacava, organizza dei laboratori di fotografia stenopeica rivolti ad adulti, bambini e ragazzi.
I workshop si terranno negli studi fotografici di SpazioPitteri8, Milano (M2 Lambrate) e saranno l'occasione per conoscere e praticare questa antica quanto particolare tecnica fotografica basata sui meccanismi ottici delle prime camere oscure.
I partecipanti avranno modo di costruire una macchina fotografica "fai da te" con una semplice scatola di cartone o di latta su cui verrà praticato un piccolo foro (stenos opaios, da cui il nome “fotografia stenopeica”), attraverso cui passerà la luce che andrà a impressionare la carta fotografica. Le fotografie così ottenute potranno essere sviluppate dai partecipanti nella camera oscura allestita all’interno dello studio fotografico. Si otterranno immagini in bianco e nero uniche e singolari caratterizzate da una accentuata distorsione ottica e sgranatura, aspetti tipici delle fotografie stenopeiche. Tempi di ripresa più o meno lunghi, particolari condizioni di luce, soggetti in movimento saranno le variabili in gioco per trovare il giusto equilibrio tra buona ripresa fotografica e sperimentazione.
Le attività laboratoriali proposte sono gratuite e sono adatte ad adulti, ragazzi e bambini a partire dai 6 anni di età. Per gli adulti, accesso libero e senza prenotazione dalle 14.30 alle 18.30. Per bambini e ragazzi prenotazione obbligatoria.
Per partecipare ai workshop è consigliato portare una scatola di cartone o di latta di medie o piccole dimensioni.
