"Sulla Riva" è il nuovo Piano Recital del pianista e compositore Giovanni V. Palumbo.
Dopo i larghi consensi ottenuti dal recital al Teatro Factory32, adesso una location intima con un’atmosfera che richiama l’house concert farà da cornice ai brani di prossima pubblicazione interamente ispirati alle lontane 24 ore che l’autore stesso definisce come le più bizzarre mai vissute. Un susseguirsi di melodie ed armonie dai tratti onirici a volte rasentanti la psichedelia si alterneranno a note più distese, classiche, giocose o malinconiche in un avvincente connubio guidato dal filo narrativo dell’autore che non mancherà di coinvolgerci in questa singolare vicenda musicale. Pianista e Compositore barese, classe ’75. Ha completato gli studi di Pianoforte e Composizione presso i Conservatori di Bari e Milano, porta avanti un intenso impegno legato alla creazione di musica classica e per immagini. Tra i vari lavori e riconoscimenti : il premio per la migliore colonna sonora originale al Festival Internazionale “Rimusicazioni HK4” per la realizzazione delle musiche del film “La Coquille et le Clergyman” della regista Germaine Dulac e pubblicazione della colonna sonora; musica e sound design realizzati per lo spot istituzionale di Emergency. Titolare fondatore del “Maniumane Classical Piano Lab” Laboratorio Didattico per lo studio del Pianoforte attivo a Milano da 10 anni con pubblicazione di testi a fini didattici
