La nuova produzione della Compagnia Teatrale "Il Serapeo" nasce da una ricerca da parte della relativa associazione su quel fenomeno denominato “caccia alle streghe”, che ha coinvolto l’intera Europa dal XIV° al XVIII° secolo.
Lo spettacolo ripercorre la storia di quelle donne che, conoscendo le proprietà curative delle erbe, dopo la pubblicazione nel 1486 del “Malleus Maleficarum”, da parte di due monaci Domenicani tedeschi, Sprenger ed Istitor, vengono accusate di essere streghe.
Secoli di radicata cultura misogina, indifferentemente pagana, cristiana o ebraica, offrivano le basi filosofiche, mediche e morali per la costruzione di una coerente rappresentazione della donna come la più pericolosa alleata di satana. Queste donne furono inquisite processate, torturate e molte di loro bruciate sul rogo.

The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Strix tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
