Catturati dal nuovo fenomeno mondiale della disco music, con lo pseudonimo D.D. Sound incidono tra il 1975 e il 1979 quattro LP, da cui traggono singoli diventati subito successi internazionali: Disco Bass - che verrà scelta come sigla della prima edizione a colori de La Domenica Sportiva - Burning Love, 1,2, 3, 4... Gimme Some More e She's Not A Disco Lady.
Da sempre allergici ai confini sonori, esplorano parallelamente anche sensibilità più pop e variegate col nome La Bionda, con cui pubblicano quattro album tra il 1978 e il 1980 a partire dall’LP omonimo, che contiene la ballata There For Me, riproposta nel tempo da artisti di fama internazionale tra cui Sarah Brightman, e l’iconica One For You One For Me. L’ultimo album, del 1980, contiene il singolo I Wanna Be Your Lover, fondamentale sperimentazione che anticipa e ispira la musica elettronica, i cui echi risuonano ancora oggi nelle tracce dei Daft Punk.
