A cinque anni di distanza dagli esordi che lo hanno portato alla ribalta sulla scena mondiale dell’elettronica, Nicolas è nuovamente pronto a regalarci la sua musica.
Il 24 novembre live all’Alcatraz di Milano in via Valtellina 25.
Nicolas Jaar è nato a New York nel 1990, ma ha vissuto parte della sua infanzia a Santiago del Cile, per poi tornare da adolescente nella grande mela. A soli 14 anni, ispirato da Mulatu Astatke e Erik Satie, Nicolas ha iniziato a comporre musica elettronica.
Il suo album di debutto Space Is Only Noise (2011) ha ottenuto ottimi consensi da parte della critica consacrandolo come uno dei produttori di musica elettronica più importanti del panorama internazionale.
Ha contribuito alla prestigiosa serie ‘Essential Mix’ di BBC Radio 1, aggiudicandosi il premio per ‘Essential Mix of the Year’ del 2012. Fondatore dell’etichetta discografica Other People, vanta collaborazioni con i migliori artisti della scena mondiale.
