Il Natale di Roma, nel suo 2777º anniversario, rappresenta un'ottima occasione per celebrare le tradizioni legate al tessuto storico e culturale della città.
Lo spettacolo offre un percorso ricco di detti e proverbi popolari, di curiosità sugli usi e costumi del popolo romano, accompagnati da canzoni, stornelli e serenate come "Serenata sincera", "Nina si voi dormite", "Barcarolo Romano", "Cento campane", "Amore vie' giu'", e molte altre.
Verranno ricordati anche i grandi artisti del passato, come Romolo Balzani, Gabriella Ferri, Renato Rascel, Ettore Petrolini e Fiorenzo Fiorentini.
Un omaggio speciale sarà dedicato ad Anna Magnani nel cinquantenario della sua scomparsa.
Il Maestro Paolo Gatti, virtuoso della chitarra classica, eseguirà i diversi brani del repertorio della musica popolare romana, accompagnato dalla cantante Roberta Giacobetti. Inoltre, è prevista la partecipazione straordinaria del gruppo musicale Archetipo Ensemble.
Il progetto è vincitore dell’Avviso Pubblico “finalizzato alla raccolta di Proposte progettuali per la realizzazione di eventi, manifestazioni, iniziative e progetti di interesse per l’Amministrazione capitolina di rilevanza cittadina” promosso da Roma Capitale in collaborazione con Zètema Progetto Cultura
