for an original show of remarkable artistic quality, created with the
intention of giving substance to the suggestions (from time to time
passionate, sad, cheerful and hilarious) evoked by the environment and
by the situation, to recreate the typical atmosphere of the bourgeois
and noble salons of the nineteenth century, with the execution of
chamber and salon music, arias, waltzes, Neapolitan writer’s songs and
the reading of poems and literary passages.

L’evento “Malia, Il Salotto Musicale dell’800” è concepito come un tuffo nel passato, che ricrea l’atmosfera tipica dei salotti borghesi e nobiliari dell’Ottocento: un appuntamento imperdibile per gli amanti della musica classica e delle atmosfere d’altri tempi!
L’intento è quello di offrire al pubblico un’esperienza immersiva, dove le note musicali si intrecciano con la lettura di poesie e brani letterari, evocando emozioni che spaziano dalla passione alla tristezza, dall’allegria all’ilarità. Le arie da camera e le romanze da salotto di Francesco Paolo Tosti, celebre compositore italiano, si alterneranno ai valzer e alle canzoni napoletane d’autore, creando un mosaico sonoro di grande suggestione.
Gli artisti coinvolti in questo spettacolo sono di altissimo livello: Bruna Tredicine, Loretta Venditti e Costanza Fontana soprani, Tiziana Pizzi, Eva Maria Ruggieri e Federica Paganini contralti, Massimo Simeoli baritono, Antonio Sapio tenore, si alterneranno come ospiti nel salotto per dare voce alle melodie, mentre Emilia Nigro e Alberto Vitolo al violino, e Mirco Roverelli e Ida Iannuzzi al pianoforte accompagneranno le esibizioni, corredate di preziosi cenni storici a cura di Claudia Simonetti, padrona di casa.

L’Associazione Musicale Reggina Domenico Scarlatti nasce nel 2007 per volontà dei M° Tiziana Pizzi e M° Alberto Vitolo, rispettivamente Presidente e Direttore Artistico AMRDS, con lo scopo della esecuzione, valorizzazione e diffusione del ricchissimo patrimonio musicale italiano, attraverso concerti, eventi, masterclasses, convegni, conferenze.
In particolar modo si dedica alla formazione di giovani talenti e ad attività di perfezionamento musicale; a tal proposito ha istituito i “Corsi Internazionali di Perfezionamento Musicale Sonorità Italiana nel mondo”, che fin dal primo anno di fondazione hanno riscosso enorme successo per l’alto livello di offerta formativa, affiancati dai “Concerti Sonorità Italiana nel mondo”.
L’associazione si avvale inoltre di diverse formazioni musicali, “I Solisti dell’AMRDS”, professionisti del mondo dell’arte (di varie competenze), di volta in volta chiamati a collaborare a seconda del tipo di evento da svolgere.
La sua attività si articola su due sedi, Reggio Calabria e Roma.
