Il risultato è un allestimento sanguigno e vivacissimo de La Locandiera, in cui il ruolo centrale di Mirandolina, grazie alla splendida interpretazione di Federica De Vita, viene esaltato e analizzato nei suoi aspetti più importanti.
Rappresentata la prima volta nel 1753, è tra le piu riuscite commedie goldoniane, certo la più lineare e perfetta. Per molti, il suo capolavoro.
