Sinossi
Charlie Price è l'erede dell'azienda di famiglia, la “Price and Son”, un calzaturificio a Northampton.
Charlie si è appena sistemato nel suo nuovo appartamento londinese quando suo padre muore improvvisamente, così torna per il funerale e scopre che la fabbrica è a un passo dal fallimento. L'azienda produce scarpe da uomo di ottima qualità, ma fuori moda e per niente economiche, tanto da rimanere invendute. Il ragazzo è deciso a salvare la fabbrica del padre, nonostante non abbia la minima idea di come gestire un'azienda; i dipendenti, inoltre, si mostrano ostili e scettici nei confronti della nuova gestione.
Il caso vuole che Charlie incontri Lola, una drag Queen che si esibisce per locali notturni con le sue “Angels”. L’idea arriva prima della catastrofe: un mercato di nicchia per salvare la fabbrica.
