On June 21st, on the occasion of the International Yoga Day, the ADI Design Museum activates its spaces for “Radiance:Tribute to the Sun” curated by Lavinia Cometti.
“Radiance: Tribute to the Sun” is a transformative event where participants will perform 108 Sun Salutations, chanted in Sanskrit, in harmony with a mesmerizing video artwork. This visual masterpiece journeys through time, trace the iconographic representation of the Sun from the dawn of the Paleolithic to the present day. It weaves through civilizations, myths, and artistic expressions, revealing the Sun evolution from a primordial deity to a timeless symbol of light, energy, and origin of life that nurture our body, mind and spirit.
The event is free and it offers a unique opportunity to participate in one of the most ancient yoga practice during the summer’s solstice under the guidance of Lavinia Cometti, yoga master and artist.
The practice will be open to practitioners of all levels, from beginners to experts.
