Un viaggio ritmico e poetico dentro l'espressivo universo di questo genere musicale afrobrasiliano, unico e centenario, il Samba, ma è anche la magia della “Musica Popular Brasileira” e dei suoi grandi compositori, come Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, tra tanti altri.
Chi è Mel Freire?
Mel Freire è una cantante ed autrice nata a Belo Horizonte, nel sud est del Brasile. Tuttavia, ha iniziato la sua carriera artistica in Italia, dove vive ormai da 30 anni. Nel corso dei suoi più di vent'anni di carriera, ha arricchito il suo repertorio con influenze provenienti da mondi culturali diversi. Ha mescolato una varietà di stili musicali, dal samba, la bossa nova, lo choro e la Musica Popular Brasileira, fino al jazz e alla musica leggera italiana.
Nel 2010, ha registrato il suo primo CD in duo con il chitarrista brasiliano Luís Felipe Bisaggio. Nel 2017, ha realizzato il suo primo album da compositrice intitolato "Clarão," che contiene brani inediti ed originali registrati tra Brasile, Italia e Portogallo. Attualmente, Mel Freire sta lavorando alla produzione del suo terzo album, interamente dedicato alle composizioni del chitarrista e cantante brasiliano Fred Martins.
“Fino Samba Quartetto” è l’incontro musicale tra i brasiliani Mel Freire (voce e pandeiro), Gabriel Caporali (basso e cavaquinho) e Duda Batera (percussioni e batteria) e il romano Simone Paoletti (chitarra 7 corde). Sarà questa la formazione che troverete sul palco di Zurla il 14 Gennaio 2024.

L'evento si svolgerà presso Zurla, un luogo progettato per accogliere, coinvolgere e stupire i suoi ospiti. L'atmosfera è una fusione di arte, design, eleganza, colore e creatività, una sinergia che si riflette nei piatti proposti e nell'accoglienza dello staff.
