Il giorno 11, 12 e 13 Luglio, A partire dalle ore 10:00 fino alle ore 20:00 si terrà la Festa Monteverdiana presso il complesso museale "La Civitella" di Chieti in particolare presso l'auditorium Cianfarani . L'evento, inserito anche in rassegna "Chieti Classica" è gratuito e rivolto a un pubblico di qualunque età.
La prenotazione è obbligatoria – Posti Limitati - I concerti inizieranno alle ore 18:00.
L’evento è articolato in tre giornate con differente programmazione. Sarà possibile prenotarsi singolarmente a ognuna di queste giornate in base al programma.

Dopo il successo ottenuto nel capoluogo abruzzese, si terrà a Chieti la seconda edizione della Festa Monteverdiana che ha lo scopo di divulgare e valorizzare l’opera del compositore cremonese Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643) ed in particolare celebrare i 400 anni dalla prima esecuzione de il “Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda”. Una particolare attenzione sarà dedicata alla trascrizione in chiave moderna dell'opera.
L'evento prevede una mostra espositiva e guidata, due concerti e una tavola rotonda con esperti, docenti e musicologi.
