La festa di S. Antonio di Padova si svolge ogni anno ad Anzino (VB) attorno ad un quadro miracoloso giunto da Roma nel 1669 rappresentante i miracoli del Santo. La tradizione narra che il quadro fu commissionato a un pittore della nobile casa Borghese e che durante il trasporto tornasse bianco nelle situazioni di pericolo.
All'arrivo nel piccolo paese sulle montagne dell'Ossola, ai piedi del Monte Rosa, il quadro fu accolto in gennaio dalla fioritura di gigli nei prati attigui il santuario e divenne meta di pellegrinaggi che perdurano ancora oggi da tutta la diocesi di Novara, dal Piemonte e dalla Lombardia.
Le feste si celebrano ogni anno il 13 giugno e la domenica seguente. Nel 2020 sarà necessario prenotare GRATUITAMENTE i propri posti a sedere per le funzioni attraverso questa piattaforma.
