La FC Start era una squadra di calcio sovietica messa su in fretta e furia in una Kiev occupata dall’esercito nazista, nel 1942. Johann Wilhelm Trollmann era un pugile di etnia Sinti e di nazionalità tedesca; essere uno “zingaro” tedesco nel 1944 non era facile.
Il Rugby Club La Plata era una squadra di Rugby argentina, di quell’Argentina in cui mentre Mario Kempes alzava la coppa del mondo di calcio del 1978, sparivano 30.000 persone sgradite al regime militare di Videla.
Cos’hanno in comune Johann Trollmann e i giocatori di Start e La Plata?
Che venne loro ordinato di perdere.
E invece loro vinsero.
