Il Bravìo delle Botti non può rinunciare alla sua notte più attesa, quella del Corteo dei Ceri, che si terrà giovedì 22 agosto lungo le vie del Centro storico e in Piazza Grande.

Rievocazione del corteo storico dei ceri lungo le vie cittadine illuminate da torce e fiaccole;

Offerta dei ceri sacri in onore del patrono San Giovanni Decollato. Esibizione del Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini Spettacolo, spettacolo autoprodotto dal Magistrato delle Contrade a cura del Movimento creative label e Davide Vannuccini

Il Bravìo delle Botti è la sfida tra otto contrade: Cagnano, Collazzi, Le Coste, Gracciano, Poggiolo, San Donato, Talosa e Voltaia, dislocate tutte lungo il centro storico cittadino, che si contendono un panno dipinto facendo rotolare delle botti di circa 80 Kg ciascuna, lungo un percorso in salita di oltre un chilometro. Le botti sono spinte da due atletici “spingitori”, mentre il percorso della gara si snoda tra le suggestive vie del centro storico della città poliziana fino all’arrivo, situato sul sagrato del Duomo in Piazza Grande.
