Arriva come un fulmine a ciel sereno “A Night on Broadway”, il nuovo
spettacolo firmato Vera Dragone con protagonista assoluta la nostra
Francesca Ciavaglia.
Tutto ma proprio tutto quello che ci si aspetta di vedere in uno
show musicale di Broadway prenderà forma sul nostro palcoscenico,
attraverso i più celebri successi cantati e danzati tratti da Chicago,
Cabaret, Victor Vittoria, Singing in the Rain, Cats e moltissimi altri
musical che hanno fatto la storia di questo genere di spettacolo.
La grande novità sono i “Blueboys” ovvero il corpo di ballo maschile
formato dai ballerini Mark Biocca, Francesco Piazza, e Giuseppe
Brancato, che si cimenteranno in numeri d’insieme e assoli sia cantanti
che ballati.
Le coreografie sono affidate a Cristina Arrò.
Dopo una carriera di successo come ballerina di programmi tv e
teatro, nel 2001 inizia una stretta collaborazione con Gino Landi,
divenendone l’erede artistica. ll suo stile jazz dona allo spettacolo la
grinta di un musical in stile Fosse ma con le grazia e l’eleganza dello
spettacolo musicale italiano.
“A Night on Broadway” mette alla luce tutto il potenziale artistico
di Vera Dragone, con coreografie originali, canzoni e monologhi che
portano lo spettatore a conoscere un modo inedito di fare spettacolo dal
vivo inserendo anche l’elemento che caratterizza tutti gli spettacoli
dell’Ellington Club, ovvero il Burlesque Show.
