Stiamo entusiasti di annunciare il System Open 2020 italiano a Lucca!

Poiché fa parte della stagione 2020 dei System Open, verrà giocato con la nuova seconda edizione di X-Wing. Prestate attenzione ai requisiti di Squad Building elencati di seguito per assicurarvi che la vostra lista sia giocabile in questo evento.

Main Event

La registrazione per l'evento principale si apre alle 08:00 del mattino del Sabato e chiude alle 09:00 in punto. I giocatori devono avere 2 copie della propria Lista Squadrone. Il formato di gioco per questo evento è HYPERSPACE .

Ogni giocatore riceverà i Prize Ticket come partecipazione, i giocatori possono spendere questi biglietti sulla bacheca dei premi per personalizzare la propria partecipazione .

Sabato

I giocatori si sfideranno in un torneo di svizzera da 6 round. Squadroni da 200 punti, formato Hyperspace. I giocatori con 5 o più vittorie avanzano alla fase ad eliminazione diretta (c.d. Top Cut) di domenica. I Prize Ticket saranno assegnati ad ogni round per la partecipazione alla partita. Inoltre, il vincitore riceverà un altro ticket per la vittoria!

Domenica

I giocatori che si sono qualificati per il turno di eliminazione possono iscriversi dalle 08:00 di domenica. La registrazione si chiuderà alle 09:00, con i turni ad eliminazione diretta che iniziano subito dopo. I giocatori manterranno la stessa squadriglia da 200 punti utilizzata sabato per qualificarsi per i round di eliminazione.

Side Event

Venerdì

Venerdì avremo Pod Aces High e Hangar Bay dalle 10 in poi. I giocatori possono guadagnare Prize Ticket da spendere al Prize Wall.

Qualifier per il Campionato Mondiale 2020

Tutti i giocatori del Main Event che non partecipano alla fase ad eliminazione diretta (Top Cut) possono iscriversi al torneo di qualificazione per il Campionato Mondiale. La registrazione apre alle 08:00 e chiude alle 09:00 della domenica. L' evento avrà inizio dopo l'inizio dei turni di eliminazione. È un torneo da 5 round di svizzera. I giocatori nei turni eliminatori possono partecipare a questo evento quando vengono eliminati, fino alla Top 8. Partecipano a questo evento con i bye (vittorie) per i round a cui non hanno partecipato.

Le qualificazioni ai campionati mondiali saranno in formato EXTENDED. I giocatori guadagneranno i Prize Ticket per ogni round del Qualifier al World Championship.

Aces High Pods

I pod Aces High usano le modalità di gioco EXTENDED o HYPERSPACE. Fino a otto giocatori possono iscriversi a un pod Aces High e giocare due round dello scenario Aces High dall'espansione multiplayer Epic Battles, con alcuni aggiustamenti minori. I giocatori giocheranno per 60 minuti e segneranno i punti della partita in base al loro posizionamento al tavolo (vedi sotto). Il primo round verrà accoppiato casualmente con quattro giocatori a un tavolo. Nel secondo turno, i giocatori del 1 ° e 2 ° posto di ciascun tavolo si troveranno uno contro l’altro, e i giocatori del 3 ° e 4 ° posto di ciascun tavolo si troveranno uno contro l’altro. Una volta completato il secondo round, i giocatori riceveranno i Prize Ticket in base alla loro posizione all'interno del pod. Per giocare, ogni giocatore dovrà portare due ostacoli, un SEGNALINO IPERSPAZIO e una nave di costo massimo 80 punti, oltre ad altri componenti del set base necessari a giocare.

In caso di pareggio, i giocatori sommano i punti potenziali per il piazzamento e li dividono per il numero di giocatori in parità.

Esempio: due giocatori devono fare lo spareggio per il secondo posto. I giocatori sommano i potenziali punteggi (6 punti e 4 punti per il 2° e il 3° posto) per un totale di 10 punti, divisi per il numero di giocatori in parità (che è due). I due giocatori in parità riceveranno ciascuno 5 punti.

Hangar Bay

gli eventi Hangar Bay saranno disponibili per tutti i giocatori che desiderano abbandonare l'evento principale dopo il round 3 di sabato. Anche alla domenica sarà possibile giocare Pod Hangar Bay, sia EXTENDED che HYPERSPACE. Le restrizioni per queste modalità di gioco possono essere trovate nella app Squad Builder.

Prize Wall

Tramite il Prize Wall, puoi personalizzare il tuo pacchetto premio personale semplicemente partecipando al System Open Series! Riceverai Prize Ticket all'inizio dell'evento, giocando nel torneo System Open e nei Side Event. Guadagnerai biglietti aggiuntivi semplicemente prendendo parte alle partite (e biglietti extra per ogni vittoria) che possono essere scambiati con vari premi presso il Prize Wall. Scegli i premi più adatti a te e personalizza il tuo squadrone come meglio credi!

IN AEREO

PISA (30 min), FIRENZE (45 min), BOLOGNA (120 min)

Grazie alla presenza delle principali compagnie aeree europee e una vasta rete di collegamenti con i principali aeroporti europei, l'Aeroporto di Pisa (20 Km da Lucca) e l'Aeroporto di Firenze (60 Km da Lucca) sono collegati alle principali città europee.

Dall'aeroporto di Pisa , c'è il PEOPLE MOVER (tram) diretto alla stazione di Pisa Centrale; una volta arrivati, è necessario cambiare treno per Lucca (€ 3,60 , tempo di viaggio 25 min.) oppure è possibile cercare un treno per Firenze / Viareggio che si ferma a Lucca .

Dall'aeroporto di Firenze , invece, è necessario raggiungere la stazione ferroviaria SANTA MARIA NOVELLA con il tram (di fronte all'aeroporto, linea T2) e poi prendere un bus o treno in direzione Lucca. In alternativa, per potete prendere un taxi per raggiungere Santa Maria Novella per circa 25 €, vi ricordiamo a TARIFFA FISSA.

IN TRENO

Il treno è il modo più semplice e facile per arrivare a Lucca. Devi seguire gli orari dei treni ma passano abbastanza regolarmente.

La stazione ferroviaria di Lucca si trova in Piazza Ricasoli, di fronte a Porta San Pietro , che è facilmente raggiungibile con meno di cinque minuti a piedi (Lucca città vecchia centro è completamente circondata dalle sue mura rinascimentali, quindi ciò che di solito indicato come Porte sono le porte delle mura attraverso le quali è possibile accedere al cuore della città).

Lucca è situata sulle linee ferroviarie che collegano Firenze con Viareggio e Firenze (o Pistoia) con Pisa, quindi ci sono molti treni giornalieri in partenza da e per Lucca.

Pisa è a circa 15-20 minuti in treno da Lucca, mentre Firenze a un'ora e 20 minuti di treno e Viareggio a circa 20 minuti.

IN MACCHINA

Il torneo è facilmente raggiungibile da tutte le principali città europee tramite le autostrade ( uscite autostradali Lucca Est o Lucca Ovest ). L'area espositiva è dotata di un ampio parcheggio nella parte anteriore della sala del torneo (via Vitricaia - Lucca sul sistema di navigazione per auto).

Il centro storico della città è chiuso al traffico e molte delle aree che consentono le auto sono riservate esclusivamente ai residenti. Ricordate che è necessario parcheggiare fuori le mura - ci sono alcune aree di parcheggio all'interno delle mura ma siate sicuri di aver ben interpretato i cartelli stradali.

Lucca si trova sull'autostrada A11 Firenze - Mare , quella strada che collega Firenze con Pisa e la costa della Versilia. Che tu venga da Nord o da Sud, è necessario prendere la A11 e uscire a Lucca Est o Ovest .

Se arrivate dalla costa, sull'autostrada A12 Genova - Roma, dovrete prima andare verso Viareggio, quindi procedere per Lucca Ovest e utilizzare una strada più veloce chiamata Bretella (c'è un pedaggio da pagare su A11 e A12).

Se vieni dagli aeroporti di Pisa e Firenze e hai una macchina a noleggio, segui le indicazioni per A11 in entrambi i casi.

Entrambe le uscite autostradali di Lucca si trovano a circa 1,5 km dal luogo del torneo e 1 km dal centro città.

Visita Lucca!

Lucca è una delle città più amate di tutta la Toscana, una tappa che non può davvero mancare in un classico itinerario alla scoperta della regione. La città può essere visitata in un giorno. La città si trova su una pianura ai piedi delle Alpi Apuane e dista meno di mezz'ora dalla costa della Versilia .

Lucca è molto facile da raggiungere sia in auto che in treno sia da Pisa che da Firenze , rendendola perfetto per chiunque si muova esclusivamente con i mezzi pubblici.

La maggior parte delle attrazioni di Lucca oggi mostrano la sua storia antica: dalle tracce dell'anfiteatro romano che può essere visto nella forma di Piazza dell'Anfiteatro ai resti archeologici sotto la chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata del XII secolo (la prima la cattedrale della città, situata proprio dietro l'angolo dall'attuale cattedrale di San Martino ), alle varie torri e ville dal XII al XVI secolo.

Straordinariamente, con il crescere e l'ammodernamento della città, furono mantenute le mura che circondavano il centro storico, cosa che non avvenne per molte altre città della Toscana, tra cui Firenze. Poiché le mura persero la loro importanza militare, la cima delle mura divenne una passeggiata pedonale, oggi una delle principali attrazioni di Lucca. L'area intorno alle mura è ben curata, con prati e alberi ovunque lungo le fortificazioni.

Qui puoi goderti un giro in bicicletta lungo l'intero perimetro, una passeggiata mentre ti godi un gelato o semplicemente un periodo di riposo dalla visita di una delle tante panchine ombreggiate che fiancheggiano la passerella principale.

Altre attrazioni principali includono la Piazza di San Michele con la sua bellissima Chiesa di San Michele in Foro , la Basilica di San Frediano , nonché la Torre dell'Orologio e la Torre Guinigi , solo per citarne alcuni.

Vicino alla città di Lucca, sempre in provincia, da non perdere la Versilia e le sue spiagge , le Alpi Apuane e la splendida Garfagnana con i suoi piccoli borghi caratteristici come Barga . C'è molto da fare e da vedere anche nei dintorni di Lucca!

Potrai assaggiare i prodotti tipici come il pecorino di Pienza , il panforte e ricciarelli biscotti da Siena, lardo di Colonnata , pan buccellato di Lucca. In aggiunta si ha la deliziosa toscana olio, vino e vinsanto . Il più famoso vino toscano è sicuramente il Chianti , che non è l'unico. Hai anche altri Chianti come Montalbano e Chianti Rufina , oltre a vini di Montepulciano e Montalcino , Vernaccia di San Gimignano e Morellino di Scansano della Maremma .

All side event tickets can be purchased on the day.

Captains Ticket: €35

The Captains Ticket allows access to the following:

• The System Open Main Event

• The Sunday World Championship Qualifier

Side event ticket: €5

The Side Event Ticket allows access to the following:

• Entry to 1 Hangar Bay Pod/Aces High Pod

All side event tickets can be purchased at the event.

Main Event

Registration for the main event opens at 8.00am on Saturday morning and closes at 9.00am sharp. Players must have 2 copies of their list. The Game Mode for this is Hyperspace.

Each player will receive prize tickets as participation, players can spend these tickets on the prize wall to customise their participation.

Saturday

Players compete in a 6 round Swiss tournament. 200 point, Hyperspace Game Mode build. Players with 5 or more wins advance to the Finals on Sunday. Prize tickets will be given for playing a round & winning a round that players can redeem for prizes!

Sunday

Players who have qualified for the elimination round can register from 8am on Sunday. Registration will close at 9am with the elimination rounds starting soon after. Players will keep the same 200 point build they used on Saturday to qualify for the elimination rounds.

Side Events

Friday

On Friday we will run Aces High Pods and Hangar Bay from 10am onwards. Players can earn prize tickets that they can spend on the prize wall.

World Championship Qualifiers:

All main event players not in the elimination rounds can register for the World Championship Qualifiers. Registration opens at 8.00am and closes at 9.00am. The event will start after the elimination rounds have started. This is a 5-round tournament. Players in the elimination rounds can enter this event as they are knocked out up until the top 8. They enter this event with byes for the rounds they have missed.

World Championship Qualifiers will be the extended Game Mode. Players will earn prize tickets for each round of the World Championship Qualifier.

Aces High Pods

Aces high pods use the Extended or Hyperspace game modes. Up to eight players can sign up for an Aces High pod and play two rounds of the Aces High scenario from the Epic Battles Multiplayer Expansion, with some minor adjustments. Players will play for 60 minutes and score match points according to their placement at their table (see below). The first round will be randomly paired with four players to a table. In the second round, the 1st and 2nd place players from each table will face each other, and the 3rd and 4th place players from each table will face each other. Once the second round is complete, players will receive prize tickets based on their standing within the pod. In order to play, each player will need to bring two Obstacles, one Hyperspace Marker, and one ship with a squad limit of 80 points, in addition to other necessary Core Set components.

Match Points

1st place: 8 points

2nd place: 6 points

3rd place: 4 points

4th place: 2 points

In the event of a tie, players add up the potential points for placements and divide them by the number of tied players.

Example: There is a two-way tie for second place. The players add up the potential scores (6 points and 4 points for 2nd and 3rd place) for a total of 10 points, divided by the number of tied players (which is two). The two players tied would each receive 5 points.

Hangar Bay:

Hangar Bay events will be available for any player who wishes to drop from the main event after round 3 on Saturday.

You will also be able to start in a Hangar Bay pods on Sunday

Players can choose to play either Extended or Hyperspace Hangar bay pods. The restrictions for these game modes can be found via the Squad Builder App.

Prize Station

Through the Prize Station, you can customize your personal prize package simply by participating in the System Open Series. You'll be given several prize tickets at the start of the event and through playing in the System Open tournament and other side events, you'll earn more tickets as you play (and extra tickets for each win) which can be exchanged for a variety of rewards at the Prize Station. Choose the prizes that best suit you and customize your squadron as you see fit!

At the new System Open Series events, the Prize Station will include alternate ship punch, promotional cards, an alternate art damage deck, tokens, and premium plastic cards, including Omega Squadron Ace, Bravo Flight Officer, and Red Squadron Expert!

Travel

BY PLANE

Thanks to the presence of the main European airlines and a wide net of connections to the main European airports, the Airport of Pisa (20 Km from Lucca) and the Airport of Florence (60 Km from Lucca) are linked to the main European cities through connection flights.

From Pisa airport you will be able to get the PEOPLE MOVER to reach the main train station, and head to Lucca Centrale train station with a regional train

From Pisa airport, there’s the PEOPLE MOVER (tram) heading to Pisa Centrale station; once got there, you need to change trains for Lucca (€3,60 , travel time 25 min.) or you can look for a train to Florence / Viareggio which stops in Lucca.

From Florence airport, instead, you need to reach the SANTA MARIA NOVELLA train station in Florence center by TRAM (in front of the airport, T2) and then take a train or bus (bus station closeby, via Santa Caterina) heading to Lucca. Alternatively, to reach the you can take a taxi to reach SANTA MARIA NOVELLA for approximately 25€, FLAT RATE.

BY TRAIN

Train is the simplest and easiest way to get to Lucca. You have to follow train schedules but they run fairly regular.

The Lucca train station is located in Piazza Ricasoli, in front of Porta San Pietro, which is easily reached with less than a five minute walk (Lucca old city center is completely surrounded by its Renaissance walls, so what we usually referred to as Porte are the doorways in the walls through which you may access the heart of the city).

Lucca is situated on the train lines that connect Florence with Viareggio and Florence (or Pistoia) with Pisa, so there are many daily trains leaving to and from Lucca.

Pisa is about a 15-20 minute ride from Lucca, while Florence an hour and 20 minute train ride and Viareggio about a 20 minute ride.

BY CAR

The venue is easily reached from all the main European cities by motorways (Lucca Est or Lucca Ovest motorway exits). The exhibition area is provided with a large car park at the very front of the tournament hall (Vitricaia street – Lucca on the car navigator system).

The old center of the city is closed off to traffic - and many of the areas that do allow for cars are exclusively reserved to residents. So once you ett there, you need to park outside the walls - there are a few parking areas inside the walls but be sure to read the signs and look for indications that it is parking open to everyone.

Lucca is located on the highway A11 Firenze - Mare, that road which connects Florence with Pisa and the Versilia Coast. If you’re coming from either the North or South, you need to take A11 and exit at Lucca Est or Ovest.

If you’re coming from the coast, on the highway A12 Genova - Roma, you will first connect at Viareggio then proceed to Lucca Ovest and use a faster road called Bretella (there is a toll to be paid on A11 and a12).

If you’re coming from the Pisa or Florence airports and have a rented car, follow indications to A11 in both cases.

Both Lucca highway exits are located about 1 km from the city center.

Visit Lucca!

Lucca is one of the cities most loved all of Tuscany, a stop that cannot really miss in a classic itinerary to the discovery of the region.

The city can be visited in a day, but if you want to appreciate the best stop for a few days or choose it as a base to explore central or north Tuscany.

The city is located on a plain at the foot of the Apuan Alps and is less than half an hour from the coast of Versilia.

Lucca is very easy to reach both by car as well as train from both Pisa and Florence, making it perfect for anyone getting around solely on public transportation.

Most of the attractions in Lucca today show its ancient history: from the trace of the Roman amphiteater that can be seen in the shape of the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro to the archeological remains under the 12th century church of Saints Giovanni and Reparata (the first city cathedral, located just around the corner from the present-day cathedral of San Martino), to the various towers and villas from the 12th to 16th centuries.

Extraordinarily, as the city grew and modernized, the walls that surrounded the old town were maintained which was not the case for many other cities in Tuscany, including Florence. As the walls lost their military importance, the top of the walls became a pedestrian promenade, today one of Lucca's main attractions. The area around the walls is well taken care of, with green grass and trees everywhere along the walls. They have in essence become a park that surrounds the city and blocks out more modern life. Here you can enjoy a bike ride around the entire perimeter, a stroll as you enjoy a gelato or simply a period of rest from sightseeing on one of the many shaded benches that line the main walkway.

Other top attractions include the Piazza of San Michele with its beautiful Church of San Michele in Foro, the Basilica of San Frediano as well as the Clock Tower and Guinigi Tower, to name just a few.

Near the town of Lucca, always in the province, do not miss the Versilia and its beaches, the Apuan Alps and the splendid Garfagnana with its small characteristic villages as Barga. There's a lot to do and see also in the surroundings of Lucca!

You’ll taste typical food products such as the pecorino cheese from Pienza, the panforte and ricciarelli biscuits from Siena, lard from Colonnata, pan buccellato from Lucca. In addition you have the delicious Tuscan oil, wine and vinsanto. The most famous Tuscany wine is certainly Chianti wine, that is not the only one. You have also other Chianti such Montalbano and Chianti Rufina, as well as wine from Montepulciano and Montalcino, Vernaccia from San Gimignano and Morellino di Scansano from Maremma.
