Realities in the making

Rossocinabro con la mostra “Realities in the Making” presenta le più recenti novità di 38 artisti internazionali.

Molte sono le differenze culturali nelle opere di questi artisti, ma dall'apertura della Giornata del Contemporaneo per tutto il 2021, il filo conduttore sarà l'identità plurale.

Alcune opere offrono uno scorcio di un incontro tra la vita materiale ordinaria e tutto ciò che sta dietro: sogni, visioni, fantasie e immagini inconsce. Sono intervallati da frammenti della realtà mediata di schermi e fotografie.

Altri scelgono motivi contrastanti enfatizzando la distinzione tra realtà e finzione, oscurità e luce, razionalità e irrazionalità, restrizione e libertà, tra esterno e interno. Tuttavia, questa dualità in queste opere non è tesa o conflittuale. Le connessioni tra i poli opposti sono instabili, fluide e cambiano naturalmente continuamente.

Alcuni artisti rappresentano anche un mondo sfaccettato e instabile in colori spesso quasi monocromatici. Gli oggetti sono frammentari, apparentemente incompiuti, le loro forme si dissolvono come a confermare che l'autenticità della realtà visibile è una mera illusione.

Pertanto, i soggetti di questa mostra non sono integrali ma frammentati e contengono tutte queste realtà in divenire. Questo è probabilmente il motivo per cui in alcuni dipinti, foto o sculture spesso non si vede una figura umana completa, ma le sue parti (volti, mani) o i loro sostituti (dettagli di abbigliamento, accessori). Le allusioni all'autoritratto testimoniano un approccio personale ed emotivo al lavoro. Gli artisti litigano con la tradizione del genere ritratto e autoritratto prendendo le distanze dalla necessità di rappresentare l'individualità del ritratto. Parlano in segni, metafore visive e simboli che fungono da catalizzatori di emozioni.

La mostra non offre una narrazione chiara e coerente, ma piuttosto fornisce impulsi che provocano le esperienze dello spettatore ed evocano ricordi.

Questa mostra è caratterizzata da intensità emotiva, suggestione psicologica e invita lo spettatore alla scoperta di sé.

Fin dall'inizio della sua attività Rossocinabro ha lavorato per raggiungere gli obiettivi prefissati: scoprire artisti promettenti e rappresentare le tendenze più calde dell'arte. Inoltre, l'esperienza accumulata lavorando con giovani artisti ha permesso di promuovere la loro carriera sin dalle prime fasi. L’attività dinamica a livello internazionale di Rossocinabro e l'ampia rete hanno contribuito al riconoscimento di diversi artisti. Il loro lavoro è stato rappresentato nelle principali città del mondo: Tokyo, New York, Shanghai e naturalmente Roma. Le opere hanno ottenuto il plauso della critica in concorsi indetti da istituzioni artistiche di fama mondiale (Arte Laguna, Premio Combat, Saatchi Painted Faces, Premio Celeste ecc.)

Realities in the making

21^st  December 2020 – 10^th January 2021

Rossocinabro with the exhibition “Realities in the Making” presents the most recent new works of 38 international artists.

Many are the cultural differences in works of these artists, but from the opening of the Contemporary Day throughout 2021, the underlying theme will be plural identity.

Some works offer a glimpse into an encounter between ordinary material life and all that lies behind it: dreams, visions, fantasies and unconscious images. They are interspersed with fragments of the mediated reality of screens and photographs.

Others choose contrasting motifs by emphasizing the distinction between reality and fiction, darkness and light, rationality and irrationality, restriction and freedom, between outside and inside. However, this duality in these works is not tense or conflicting. The connections between the opposite poles are unstable, fluid and naturally change continuously.

Some artists also represent a multifaceted and unstable world in often almost monochromatic colours. The objects are fragmentary, apparently unfinished, their forms dissolve as if to confirm that the authenticity of visible reality is a mere illusion.

Therefore, the subjects of this exhibition are not integral but fragmented and they contain all these realities in becoming. This is probably why in some paintings, photos or sculptures often do not see a complete human figure, but its parts (faces, hands) or their substitutes (details of clothing, accessories). The allusions to the self-portrait testify to a personal and emotional approach to work. The artists argue with the tradition of the portrait and self-portrait genre but they distance themselves from the need to represent the individuality of the portrait. They speak in signs, visual metaphors and symbols that act as catalysts of emotions.

The exhibition does not offer a clear and coherent narrative, but rather provides impulses that provoke the viewer's experiences and evoke memories.

This exhibition is characterized by emotional intensity, psychological suggestion and invites the viewer to self-discovery.
