A ridosso di un grosso polo industriale in Sardegna, tre ragazzini trovano una rondine stordita.
L’affrontare una piccola avventura come quella di salvare un animale in pericolo, porta a galla una serie di inquietudini, di domande alle quali Anna, la ragazza più matura del gruppo, riuscirá a rispondere con l’aiuto della saggia Zia.

Marona, una cagnetta dal naso a forma di cuore, per salvare la padroncina rimane vittima di un incidente. Ripercorre così con la mente e il cuore tutti i padroni che ha avuto e amato nella sua vita. Grazie alla sua innata empatia, è riuscita a portare calore e innocenza in tutte le case in cui ha vissuto.
