Sabato 21 dicembre 2019 alle ore 20.30 Palazzo Pesce canta la “Notte Santa” insieme al soprano Maria Cristina Bellantuono e alla voce recitante Maurizio Pellegrini accompagnati dal pianista Vincenzo Cicchelli.
Un concerto in Puglia che rende omaggio alla notte che ha cambiato il nome della storia, all’unica notte che è stata esattamente identica alle altre eppure Santa. Le musiche di Georg Frederich Händel e Antonio Vivaldi e le più tradizionali melodie dal mondo rivivranno nella voce di Maria Cristina Bellantuono, laurea di II livello in Canto lirico con lode e menzione al Conservatorio Rota di Monopoli, vincitrice di numerosi premi tra cui Premio internazionale Valerio Gentile, Premio Rosa Ponselle e Premio speciale dell’Opera di Varna, Bulgaria, e una carriera che la vede impegnata su prestigiosi palcoscenici come il Teatro San Carlo di Napoli e il Merker Kunstsalon di Vienna, nelle parole di Maurizio Pellegrini, diploma all’Accademia dei Filodrammatici di Milano, diploma in Canto lirico al Conservatorio Rota di Monopoli, una attività divisa fra recitazione, regia e prestigiose collaborazioni come Fonderia Mercury, Radio 3 Rai, Radio-Televisione Svizzera Italiana, Traetta Opera Festival e una intensa produzione come autore per musica e teatro e revisore musicale, e il pianoforte di Vincenzo Cicchelli, diploma in Pianoforte e Musica vocale da Camera con massimo dei voti e lode al Conservatorio Piccinni di Bari, formazione nel repertorio liederistico in ambiente torinese alla scuola dei maestri Elio ed Erik Battaglia, da più di quindici anni dedito all’accompagnamento del canto e una attività concertistica che lo ha portato nei principali teatri e sale da concerto di Puglia e in prestigiosi festival come Suona Italiano a Parigi e MiTo a Torino.
Una serata magica dove l’attesa si fa canto e la speranza suono. Perché Natale è memoria, sorpresa. Un viaggio intenso, il cui racconto fedele e laico ci ricorderà che ogni giorno che nasce è Natale.
