Sabato 29 agosto 2020 alle ore 21.00 Palazzo Pesce si riempie delle sonorità di “Melodico” con la tromba e il flicorno di Andrea Sabatino e la fisarmonica di Vince Abbracciante.
Un concerto in Puglia che deve tutto all’incontro professionale di due musicisti che provengono da esperienze musicali diverse e che insieme hanno deciso di dar vita a un programma originale che è stato registrato ed è di prossima uscita per l’etichetta Dodicilune Records. I brani di alcuni cantautori che hanno fatto la storia della musica italiana, da Kramer a Tenco, da Trovajoli a Bruno Martino, sono rivisitati dal jazz creativo e moderno di Andrea Sabatino, diploma in Tromba con il massimo dei voti al Conservatorio Tito Schipa di Lecce, una carriera iniziata come trombettista concertista classico e virata al jazz dopo l’incontro nel 2000 con Fabrizio Bosso e costellata di collaborazioni prestigiose come Sergio Cammariere, Mario Biondi, Dee Dee Bridgewater e Massimo Morricone, e dall’eleganza classica e raffinata di Vince Abbracciante, laurea in Fisarmonica classica con lode e menzione presso il Conservatorio di Matera, una attività concertistica che lo vede esibirsi nei cinque continenti insieme ai nomi più prestigiosi, e definito dal Dizionario del Jazz italiano 2014 “stella nascente della fisarmonica in Italia … padroneggia la fisarmonica come pochi e suona con talento qualsiasi genere musicale”.
