Band dell’entroterra siculo, suonano i loro inediti dal sapore tradizionale, ma con un’anima Rock. Il loro stile, caratterizzato da melodie coinvolgenti, è ricco di sonorità tipiche siciliane. Il concerto si arricchisce di cover che spaziano dal Folk al Celtico, alle Pizziche e Tarante.
Biglietto da visita di un nuovo filone musicale Rock/Folk Siciliano, i Malarazza 100% Terrone, godono di un apprezzamento di pubblico in continua espansione che li segue nei vari Festival e negli ambienti in cui si esibiscono.
Sono da anni attivi nel sottobosco musicale Siciliano e i temi dei loro brani spaziano dalla protesta e le critiche verso una politica corrotta e mafiosa, al disagio di un popolo da sempre oppresso, agli stati d’animo e ai sentimenti umani.
Malarazza 100% Terrone fanno musica Folk/Rock-Progressive e vengono dall'entroterra siculo e precisamente dei Comuni di Cammarata, San Giovanni Gemini, Bivona e Mussomeli.
Le origini della band risalgono più o meno all'anno 2010, in cui il gruppo si esibiva nei vari locali e festival della loro zona.
Nel 2014 incidono il loro primo singolo Zio Pino, brano dedicato a Don Pino Puglisi, promuovendolo con un videoclip pubblicato nel loro canale Youtube, riscuotendo un boom di visualizzazioni che li porta a fare concerti in tutta la Sicilia.
Incidono il loro primo album SCIATU e lo pubblicano nel 2018, l'album contiene 10 tracce che parlano di personaggi famosi della Sicilia, come Pirandello ne Il Poeta Di Girgenti , Ettore Majorana in Lettera D'Addio, Santa Rosalia in La Santuzza.
Nel 2019 pubblicano Il cristo nero, primo inedito di quello che sarà il loro secondo album.
Le musiche ed i testi sono di Salvatore Alessi.
Il loro sound è caratterizzato dai suoni di strumenti tradizionali come il tamburello, lo zufolo siciliano, la fisarmonica e il violino, accostati a strumenti contemporanei come la batteria, il basso e la chitarra elettrica creando appunto questo connubio Folk/Rock.
