Venerdì 15 maggio 2020 alle ore 20.30 a Palazzo Pesce risuonano le note di “Archduke”, il concerto per festeggiare il 250° anniversario della nascita di Ludwig van Beethoven, con il violino di Silvia Grasso, il violoncello di Gaetano Simone e il pianoforte di Liubov Gromoglasova, ovvero il Trio Gioconda De Vito.
Un concerto esclusivo in Puglia per ascoltare alcune delle pagine più belle e conosciute del repertorio cameristico tedesco: il “Trio Archduke” di Beethoven, scritto in poche settimane nel marzo del 1818 e dedicato all’amico, allievo e mecenate Rodolfo d’Asburgo; il “Notturno” D897 di Franz Schubert, fantasia assai libera nelle sue divagazioni composta nel 1828 e pubblicata solo nel 1846; e la celeberrima “Hungarian Dance” di Johannes Brahms, opera che documenta l’amore del compositore tedesco per il canto popolare e per Clara Schumann, che prese a eseguirla nei suoi concerti. Il tutto affidato alla sensibile interpretazione di Silvia Grasso, Liubov Gromoglasova e Gaetano Simone, tre musicisti che da anni svolgono attività didattica e concertistica con repertori che spaziano dall’antico al contemporaneo e che nel 2016 fondano il Trio Gioconda De Vito, dedicandolo alla più grande violinista italiana del Novecento. Formazione in residence della Fondazione Paolo Grassi di Martina Franca, ai cui concerti partecipa regolarmente e per cui ha realizzato un’iniziativa dedicata a Shostakovich, condotta dal critico musicale Sandro Cappelletto e presentata nell’ambito del 43° Festival della Valle d’Itria, il Trio Gioconda De Vito è vincitore di concorsi nazionali e internazionali, e si esibisce nelle più prestigiose sale da concerto d’Europa.
