Guglielmo Scuotelapera “al secolo” William Shakespeare versus il suo analista. Il tormentato e sedicente bardo attraversa un momento di crisi e porta in superficie uno degli interrogativi più ambigui del suo repertorio: Era l’allodola?. Un irriverente gioco delle parti dove l’amore descrive la follia e la follia fa sbocciare l’amore, conducendo lo spettatore a ritmo serrato verso il terreno dell’assurdo, dell’illogicità, dei paradossi della società contemporanea.
Era L’allodola? - La mordente pièce di Daniele Monachella, da lui stesso interpretata assieme a Carlo Valle, attore altrettanto incisivo, offre un’ intelligente rivisitazione di alcuni tra i più intensi luoghi testuali del teatro shakespeariano, rievocati con grazia e arguzia e riattualizzati in chiave comico-ironica di grande efficacia. Il filo tematico che lega i diversi momenti della performance discendono dalla quinta scena del terzo atto di Romeo and Juliet, in cui il canto dell’allodola, annunciante il chiarore dell’alba ai due giovani amanti che hanno appena consumato l’unica notte del loro amore, segna anche il loro amaro e ineluttabile destino. Un momento tragico dunque, che invece dà luogo a un intreccio di allusioni e citazioni che riportano in scena, è il caso di dire, l’’ironia della sorte’ come esperienza di vita, di riflessione e di recitazione.
