bellissimo scenario delle stanze di Palazzo Ferretti a Cortona si
svolge, dal 17 al 28 settembre 2020, la mostra personale di Valeria
Patrizi.
Le grandi tele, libere da intelaiature e realizzate con tutti elementi naturali - dalle colle, agli inchiostri e all'uso del caffè – rappresentano donne dall'aspetto quasi evanescente che ripercorrono, con inaspettata forza, i momenti più importanti della loro esistenza.
Ed è proprio Demetra, dea delle messi e dei raccolti, madre di inesauribile amore, che Valeria Patrizi ha scelto per aprire questa sua personale.
Scrive sulla mostra Gian Ruggero Manzoni:
“.... quest’ultima serie di opere, va a racchiudere non pochi significati: la gravidanza, la maternità e tale epifania, l’amore nei confronti di chi porta il tuo stesso sangue o del prossimo in genere, il nutrire in modo sano prima se stessi poi gli altri, e ciò sia materialmente sia spiritualmente, quindi il cantare le capacità vitalistiche e fortificanti intrinseche nel femminile, il raggiungere l’autostima e la massima realizzazione personale una volta svezzati i propri figli, il rifiuto della violenza, la dimensione caritatevole, il non perdere la speranza sebbene in preda al dolore, la generosità e la perseveranza, il difendere i più deboli, il tutto espresso tramite una linea decisa, seppure, a un primo batter d’occhi, potrebbe sembrare quel tanto “in disinvolta evanescenza”; quindi tramite la capacità, portata a regola, del riuscire a dare forma sfruttando il minimo degli elementi...” (cit.
